You come here to eat proper fish and seafood, and it won’t disappoint! They have consistently got the best quality fresh catch. It’s small but has a great view on the beach and sea. The service could be better, they know they serve amazing food and drop a bit the quality of client service. And I truly hate the 2-shift setup, it just makes everything rushed.

Exuberant experience with loads of different and good fish and seafood options, as well as traditional Spanish dishes. The restaurant also offers a great view of the ocean and the beach .

As other reviewers point out … Excellent food. Amazing location. Mainly though the service was fantastic. What a great team … helpful, genuinely friendly, warm and very welcoming. It’s still busy in CdeP and nearing the end of the season … so sadly we’re finding service in most other places here on the curt / impatient side. Looking at the beach and at the Mediterranean sea, this small restaurant serves a fresh a perfectly prepared seafood and fish. Paired with the professional and friendly customer service Sol i Mar is a must visit for all the visitors of Calelella.

Do yourself a favour and book in advance. This is a small restaurant and gets booked up very quickly. There are 2 seatings. 7.30pm and 9.30pm. You will only be given your 2 hours no matter what time you arrive. We discovered this to our dismay as I booked on line and the online system gave us an option to book for 8pm, we didnt realise that this meant we had half hour less. We are returning customers but since last time we booked in the restaurant and we couldn't get a table until 9ish it didn't occur to us. So, when we sat at 8pm, the clock had started ticking at 7.30pm! All that said, we had an exceptional meal. We had a table inside. The restaurant is charming. Outside is lovely too, but a bit blustery since you're right on the seafront. We were 3 adults. To start we shared the fried calamari and the padron peppers. Absolutely mouthwatering. To follow I had the baked whole seabass, my friends had grilled sardines and Palamos prawns. All the food was exceptional. We also shared a bottle of wine. We managed to get this all finished in time! I will absolutely return and I will be sure to arrive at the start of the session!!!

We ate outside here for dinner recently, and everything was amazing! The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations on wine and food, and the service was perfect. We had grilled razor and baby clams to start, tomato bread, grilled sardines, and shared the turbot with fries. The seafood was fresh, simply but perfectly prepared, and delicious. All that plus the beautiful view just steps from the beach made it a truly memorable experience! Make reservations - you won’t regret it!
